The Beginning
Krishna Plast was established on May 2, 1990. The company began manufacturing PP Twine and semi-automatic PP straps with an initial production capacity of 15 tons per month.
1993
Scaling Up
The PP strap production plant was upgraded with advanced two-layer flow strap technology. This expansion increased monthly production capacity from 15 tons to 35 tons.
1996
New Stewardship
Krishna Plast entered a new phase under the visionary leadership and sole proprietorship of Babhubhai S. Dangar, establishing a clear direction for future expansion.
1999
Facility Expansion
The dedicated production facility expanded to 5,000 square feet, improving manufacturing flow, increasing output and preparing the company for future production growth.
2003 — 2014

Capacity Expansion
Three additional manufacturing lines were installed to meet increasing market demand, raising total production capacity to 60 tons per month.
2010
Automation Breakthrough
The first fully automatic PP strap manufacturing line was introduced through the new venture Ocean Polystrap, strengthening machine-grade strap production.

Sustainable Progress
Murlidhar Polymers was established with a focus on recycled raw materials, creating practical, affordable and more environmentally conscious packaging solutions.

Multi-State Presence
A second manufacturing unit was established in the Katedan industrial area of Hyderabad, improving regional connectivity, supply capabilities and customer service.

Forming the Group
Krishna Plast, Ocean Polystrap and Murlidhar Polymers were strategically consolidated into the Krishna Plast Group, bringing manufacturing strengths under one direction.
2022
Corporate Milestone
Kromb India Private Limited was officially incorporated, creating a stronger corporate foundation for premium packaging solutions and the next stage of business growth.

Global Footprints
Kromb India entered a new international growth phase, expanding high-quality PP strapping solutions across global markets while maintaining a manufacturing capacity of 300 tons per month.
Different manufacturing ventures, technologies and capabilities gradually came together to create one stronger, unified and future-ready industrial packaging company.
Krishna Plast created the manufacturing foundation. Ocean Polystrap introduced fully automatic production. Murlidhar Polymers brought recycled-material capabilities, and these strengths later formed the foundation of Kromb India Pvt. Ltd.
